A lot of you have asked, how long does our CMX Ceramic Spray Coating last? The truth is, that has yet to be determined! In one of our long-term tests (May 4, 2018), we applied CMX Ceramic Spray Coating to the hood of a 2016 Mazda CX-9 with no claying or paint correction. It’s been over eight months and we subjected it to an automatic drive-through brush car wash, 5 days a week. It lives, sans garage, in the salt air near the Pacific Ocean, regularly spends time running up and down the California coast and makes regular camping trips to the Sierras. In short, we’ve not gone easy on our CX-9’s paint. We took this pic of the hood only a couple days ago after a hard rain. As you can see, the water still beads like crazy! So, how long will our CMX Ceramic Spray Coating last? Only time will tell.
