In honor of Black Friday we give you this black (okay, so its a PPG purple, but close enough) 1939 Ford built by the infamous Tim Divers of Divers Street Rods in Startup, WA. The all-steel bodied car is called the GT39 (like a GT40, keep reading) and features a complete drivetrain from a Ford GT 5.4-liter supercharged V8 mated to a Ford 4R100 4-speed auto linked to a Ford 9-inch rear end with a Strange Engineering center section. Art Morrison supplied the chassis and the brakes are from Wilwood and the Schot wheels are one-offs. For more from the mad, mad mind of Tim Divers visit http://www.diversstreetrods.com/index.php
