Mazda's RX-792P was campaigned in IMSA's GTP class in 1992 (thus the name). It was a next gen version of the 787B that won Le Mans in '91 and while the Lee Dykstra-designed bodywork is arguably sleeker and sexier than the 787B it never enjoyed the level of success of its 4-rotor big brother. We just want to know why our marketing peeps are shooting it in a studio today complete with Mothers logos on the wing end plates. And can we tag along? We just wanna run our hands across her flanks.
