The hits from our 2010 Mothers Choice Award winners just keep on coming. This 1946 Hudson pickup is rockin' a 508-cubic inch big-block Chevy V8 topped off with a GMC 8-71 blower with Hilborn Shotgun fuel-injection. The TCI chassis sits on a AccuAir suspension and the cab was lengthened by 7 inches, the wheelbase shortened 8 inches and the bed shortened by 18 inches. Hudson coupe doors were grafted onto the truck all finished with House of Kolor paint. Believe it or not Bob Bruhn completed the entire build - including the paint - in his garage working on it almost full-time over a period of three years with the truck never leaving the garage during the build. Bob, you are a Mothers Trucker of the highest order. Yes, we just made that up.
