This MX-5 was on display at SEMA in front of our rig. It was built by Tri-Point Motorsports and today was not only it's first event but the first time the car drove in any fashion. Super shoe Charles Espenlaub drove this turbocharged Mazda to a 1:47.202 at Fontana's Auto Club Speedway, which was good enough for second place in Modified RWD at the Redline Time Attack finals. We expect many more good times from Charles and Tri-Point in this Mothers Polish'd missle. Congratulations to the entire team.
