We're at the LA Auto Show today and we think Mercedes-Benz will be hard-pressed to unveil anything nearly as sultry as this '61 190 SL called "Mercedes-Bent". It was one of our 2010 SEMA Show Mothers Choice Award winners owned by Richard Mott and built by Randy Clark of Hot Rods & Custom Stuff in Escondido, CA. Check the specs: 650hp twin-turbo RENNtech V12, stretched and widened body sitting atop an '04 600 SL platform, a grille milled from a single piece 450 lb billet aluminum (?!), custom 20-inch wheels with floating center caps and finished in BASF Glasurit Elfenbein (ivory) paint. Why can't the M-Bs of today have this much soul?
