You've no doubt heard about the benefits of ceramic coatings. Detailers, online influencers and car enthusiasts alike all rave about how well they work, but these coatings have always been costly and difficult to apply – until now. With Mothers® CMX® Ceramic Spray Coating, protecting your vehicle has never been easier. Our clear coat safe ceramic coating is designed to give your vehicle that showroom mirror-like shine in just minutes. Best results are achieved when used on a finish that’s clean and free of paint defects, waxes, oils or other contaminants.
When you’re ready to use it, apply the spray onto a soft, clean microfiber towel. Spread it evenly across the car body over a wet or dry surface, overlapping as you go for complete coverage. As you’re gliding it over, it will start to gradually disappear. Once you’re done with the application, wait a few minutes to let the coating bond. Then, manually buff the surface thoroughly using a new and clean microfiber towel until it’s clear. If it becomes too wet as you’re wiping, switch to a new towel. Repeat this on any missed spots or areas that need a touch-up.
You can add extra coats if needed, but it’s best to wait 24 hours between applications for optimal bonding. Once it’s complete, we recommend washing any towels or applicators that you used immediately to prevent the product from drying and bonding to the material.
